24 Mirages Secondes — Assistance on scenario development

I started as assistant director, being lucky enough to be able to do eclectic choices. For instance I have been assistant to Claude Chabrol, Pierre Schoendoerffer, Rachid Bouchareb, among others.
With Ann Gisel Glass, then Emmanuel Oberg and later Gregory Kourilsky, we founded a production company, Debsie Films, to produce the short films from our buddies. We produced a dozen — including by Éléonore Faucher, Jean-Christophe Delpias… —, then made 2 documentaries, 2 TV movies as well as some line producing. We even welcomed an Indian Bollywood movie, which we shot by night under the Eiffel tower.

When the Debsie Films adventure went to a stop, I worked as Unit Production Manager on the « Collections Maupassant » for France 2, produced by Gérard Jourd'hui. I then went on with this role on more films as well as on the soap opera from Marseille « Plus Belle La Vie ».

The association 24 Mirages Seconde was born from this experience and from a gathering of talents, diverse experiences, which shapes a homogeneous team working in a collegial manner, each with one's own view of the world as it is, uncompromised and maybe useful to all. Without biases and who knows, as a discoverer of talents.

I worked about a dozen years in movie dubbing as a kid-actor.
Starting from around 7-8 y.o., until early adulthood, I have dubbed hundreds of movies, of all sorts, from animation to feature films and series…

I have also worked physically in a television film ("L'amour tagué", by Bruno Carrière), some ads and TV serie episodes, and a cinema feature, "Poussières de Vie" by Rachid Bouchareb, for which I received an "Outstanding Youth Actor in a Foreign Film" price during Young Artist Awards 1995. This is the movie I met Marc on.

Being one of the few child-actors being in "normal school", juggling between homeworks and workdays, I finally turned to science studies, then specializing in computer science and artificial intelligence.

After university, I have worked a few years in computer engineering, then got rid of my things and left for Asia by motorcycle. I reached Japan where I stayed a year, then a year in South Korea, another year in Japan again (during this period, I worked as senior developer for a startup in Tokyo) and finally New Zealand.

Back in France, I worked for non-profits and for the French National Research Center. I co-wrote the scenario of the short animated film ZeMarmot, on which I also work on technical roles. This movie, directed by Aryeom Han, is produced by the non-profit film production LILA as a "libre movie", which means it will be freely re-distributable, modifiable, and so on. Production tools are also fully Free Software.

Actor, stage director and theater president, for many years together with Marcel Maréchal in the National Theater of Marseille then at Tréteaux de France in Paris. From 2004 to 2020, he was the artistic director for actors in the famous drama series Plus Belle La Vie, broadcasted on France 3, produced by Newen-Telfrance.

From 2020, he decided to come back on stage, actor and scenarist for theaters. He wrote 2 plays.

During the last 17 years spent behind a camera, he trained and directed close to 3600 actors, beginners and experienced alike.

He now develops and uses this experience with the new organization he created to train actors: Acteurs Studio 13.

In 2022, simultaneously to his new duties as trainer of actors, he plays his latest play, Pagnol à la lettre, in a tour in France, at the Festival d’Avignon and at the Théâtre Toursky.
